Why is the site called WhiteBinder?
I chose the name, WhiteBinder, because most of the material that I have posted and plan to post on this site is contained in two very large, white binders that I purchased on my mission. They are both filled to overflowing with spiritual thoughts, talks, articles, etc. and it was my worry that something might happen to my white binders and that their contents would be lost that led me to set up this site.
Is this site affiliated with the LDS church?
No, this site is not affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in any way. This site is just a repository for stories, talks, quotes, etc. that I've collected over the years. I am an active member of the LDS church so there is, of course, that perspective on the items I've collected. You will see, however, that this site also includes material unrelated to the LDS church.
How often is new content added to the site?
There is no set schedule for when content is posted. New content is added all the time and at all different schedules. I post new content whenever I have something that I feel would be a good addition to the site and when I have the time to get it posted. There are times when I'm able to post several items in one day, other times I'll go weeks or more without adding any new content. If you want to be notified whenever new content is posted to the site, you can sign up for a New Content Notice in the box on any page and you'll receive an email each time something new is added to the site.
Can I submit something to be included in the site?
Absolutely, I am always looking for more content to add to the site. I can't guarantee that I'll post everything that I receive but I would love to take a look at anything that you think would make a good addition to the site. I would love to see this website grow from one person's small collection into a large library of materials from many different contributors. If you have something you'd like to submit, please click on the "Contact Us" link above for more information.
Who operates this website?
My name is Rob, I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a husband and a father of four children. I have some experience with website design and one day I had the idea to take all the talks, articles, spiritual thoughts and other items I'd been saving in two large white binders since my missionary days and post them on the web. So I set up this site and now work on adding content to it whenever I'm not otherwise occupied with my regular job, my family and all the other demands of life.
