By George D. Durrant
Wednesday, 02 August 2006

A missionary showing dignity and respect calls his companion "Elder Clark." He knows that that is more appropriate than calling him "Clark" or "Robert" or "Robbie." He just senses that. By Elder Boyd K. Packer

I will tell you of an experience I had before I was a General Authority which affected me profoundly. I sat on a plane next to a professed atheist who pressed his disbelief in God so urgently that I bore my testimony to him. "You are wrong," I said, "there is a God. I know He lives!"

At the first of my mission, I must admit, I was somewhat less than enthusiastic about tracting and street contacting. I even remember faking ringing the doorbell when it was my door a couple of times.

Yogurt is the world's worst stuff. If we were to take all the yogurt that could be found and ship it to the moon it would certainly make me happy. I had a friend once that actually ate some of it and wasn't the least bit ashamed.
